Tillsonburg Youth Advisory Council

The Tillsonburg Youth Advisory Council makes recommendations on youth recreational and social issues in Tillsonburg.

Mandate

• To advise and make recommendations to Council on all matters with respect to youth recreational and social issues in the Town of Tillsonburg;
• This will provide a communication link between the youth in Tillsonburg and Tillsonburg Town Council;
• The needs of the youth shall be addressed with recommended action to Council to enrich the quality of life and well-being for the youth in the community.

Committee Composition

The Tillsonburg Youth Advisory Council shall be comprised of eight members, including one member of Town Council, the Oxford OPP Community Resource Officer, two members of the community aged 20 or above and a minimum of four youth community members aged anywhere from  ages 15 to 19, with a maximum of thirteen members.
