Our Commitment

The Town of Tillsonburg is committed to fostering a barrier-free community for all
individuals who live, work, visit, and invest here. It is important that the Town continue to
plan for the future so that Town facilities and services are accessible and welcoming for
everyone.

To comply with the requirements of Ontario's Accessibility laws, municipalities are required to provide accessibility training to employees and volunteers who work with members of the public.

Accessibility Training focuses on the requirements of the Integrated Accessibility Standard Regulations and the Ontario Human Rights Code as it pertains to persons with disabilities.

Accessibility Training Material is available online for viewing by municipal employees, volunteers of the organization and the public.

Please visit Bell Canada's website to learn how their Bell Relay service supports communication by phone between hearing people and people who are deaf, deafened, hard of hearing, or those with speech disabilities.

BrowseAloud is now available on the Town website to increase accessibility.

By downloading and installing the free BrowseAloud software from TextHelp, you can simply point at text on our pages and it will be read aloud to you.
