Submit an event to our calendar
Are you hosting a public event in Tillsonburg or the surrounding area? You may submit your event to our Community Calendar. Please note that all events will be vetted by Town staff prior to posting on the website.
Acceptable Events
Events will be posted on the calendar if they meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Organized by a Town of Tillsonburg affiliated group
- Funded/sponsored in full, or in part, by the Town of Tillsonburg
- Organized by a community organization, service club or local sports association operating within the Town of Tillsonburg and the surrounding area performing work that benefits Tillsonburg residents
- Located in a facility owned or leased by the Town of Tillsonburg
- Is a family-friendly activity or event
- Encourages participation in arts and culture
Unacceptable Events
Events will be rejected if they:
- Promote, exhibit, illustrate or contain obscene/pornographic/sexual content of any kind
- Encourage violence, hatred or bigotry
- Do not comply with municipal, provincial or federal legislation and/or promote illegal activity
- Have a solely commercial intent (i.e. sales and special promotions)
- Are yard or garage sales (unless they are organized by a non-profit, service club or other community group)
- Are not open to the public
We reserve the right to post, refuse to post, or remove any event from our online calendar at any time, without notice.
Please note that events will be approved or denied within two business days.
