Flags at all Town of Tillsonburg properties will be lowered for one week in honour of the victims of the tragic shooting in Tumbler Ridge, BC. This gesture is a symbol of our collective mourning and our support for all those affected.

“The Town of Tillsonburg is deeply saddened to learn of the tragic events in Tumbler Ridge, BC. Our hearts go out to the families, friends, and the entire community as you navigate this incredibly difficult time.
As a small town, we understand how closely knit a community is — when one hurts, everyone hurts. This morning we are hurting as a nation.
Please know that Tillsonburg stands with you, holding you in our thoughts and sending strength, compassion, and support from one small community to another.”
